Below are our charges for groups visits for 2012 - 2013
Half Day Session - Under 16 Year Olds
COST: £4 per child, leaders FREE
The price of this session includes a visit to the New Forest Museum.
Please note that a minimum charge of £60 applies.
Whole Day Session - Under 16 Year Olds
combining two half day sessions of your choice
COST: £6 per child, leaders FREE
The price of this session includes a visit to the New Forest Museum.
Please note that a minimum charge of £100 applies.
Outreach to Schools
COST: £2 per child plus travel expenses (40p per mile)
The price of this session includes a visit from an Education officer and use of Museum handling collections. Timings for the session will vary according to the number of children involved.
Please note that a minimum charge of £60 applies.
Outreach to Youth Groups
COST: £1 per child plus travel expenses (40p per mile)
The price of this session includes a visit from an Education officer for approximately an hour and use of Museum handling collections.
Please note that a minimum charge of £30 applies.
Self Guided Museum Visit
COST: under 16's FREE, Leaders £4
Half Day Session - 16's and over (Adult Groups)
COST: £6 per adult
The price of this session includes a visit to the New Forest Museum.
Please note that a minimum charge of £60 applies.
Talk - 16's and over (Adult Groups)
COST: £50 per hour plus travel expenses if at venue away from the New Forest Centre (40p per mile).
Price based on group size of up to 35. If you have a larger group please contact us for a price.
The price of this session includes an illustrated talk only.
Entrance to the Museum is NOT included.
This would be charged at normal Museum admission price.
Evening Opening (Adult or Youth Groups)
If groups would like exclusive use of the Museum in the evening for educational purposes we can offer occaisional evenings at a cost of approximately £60 per hour. To organise such a visit it is essential to contact the education team as soon as possible to check availability and price. Prices will vary depending on requirements of the group that is booking
