We are looking for two caretakers to work 07.30am - 10.00am on a two week rolling shift pattern:


Week 1

Week 2

Post A

Saturday – Tuesday 0730 - 1000

Saturday – Monday 0730 - 1000

Post B

Wednesday – Friday  0730 - 1000

Tuesday – Friday  0730 - 1000

A methodical approach and attention to detail is essential, as is the necessary skill and experience to carry out minor building repairs/maintenance. The post will also involve unlocking the building and unsetting the security alarm.

Specialist Trustees and Advisors wanted

The New Forest Centre is looking to appoint specialist trustees and advisors to help steer the charitable trust that runs the Centre through an exciting development phase over the next few years.

In particular, we are looking for volunteers with experience in

  *  finance and fundraising
  *  marketing and PR
  *  libraries and collections

New Forest Ninth Centenary Trust, Registered Charity No 279373

Honorary Treasurer to the New Forest Ninth Centenary Trust

The New Forest Ninth Centenary Trust is looking to appoint an honorary treasurer. The Trust owns and runs the New Forest Centre in Lyndhurst (opened in 1988) that houses the New Forest Museum, Reference Library and Gallery, as well as running an education service.

The post would be best suited to someone with an accountancy background preferably with some knowledge of charities.  The job involves presenting Sage generated accounts at four Trustees meetings and six Executive meetings each year as well as assisting with the preparation of annual forecasts.
