Forest - A Trip Out
Saturday 19 October to Sunday 24 November 2013
Julian Konczak’s documentary and video installation combines contemporary interactive technologies to allow audiences to explore video footage of the Forest using their bodies. The imagery draws on the natural cycles of the Forest landscape over the four seasons and combines HD video with timelapse.
There is a related evening talk on Monday 21 October when Julian talks about the development of his Forest exhibition and examines how historical images and stories about the landscape derived from his exploration of the Centre’s archives, have come to surface in the exhibition.
Also a free Weekend Workshop on Saturday 2 November when you can get the chance to explore some of the experimental techniques that Julian uses and be guided through a range of camera tricks to make your own timelapse video.
